General thoughts on upcoming MH.

I'm not much of a forum person, mainly because I always have the nagging feeling that what I want to add has already been said... But anyway, since I do have this blog, I thought I might put down my thoughts here, because why not? Freaky Fusion Hybrids Main line of the summer/fall season. While it is a neat concept, and one I hope they will have throughly explored in the upcoming film (I mean, Toralei and Cleo as one being? I cannot see that ending well lol), I can't say that the dolls themselves made any real impact on me. Normally I'm all for OTT, but these ghouls are a bit too OTT, even for me. I'm a bit interested in Dracubecca, since I'm all over heart motifs and steampunk, but I'm going to wait for owner's pics before I decide. Freaky Fusion Inspired Ghouls Cute concept, but... Naw. Operetta is a the only maybe of the lot, since she's my main ghoul and all. But otherwise my wallet's safe. Freaky Fusion New Characters Love, love, love the new characters! While I was taken with only Sirena from the very first photo leak, the new in-box pictures that have surfaced have brought my attention to the other two ghouls as well: Bonita, whom I initially thought too pink even for me has turned out to have them most gorgeous face, and Avea with her lovely equine body won me over with her snazzy jacket and eye-makeup. And as for Sirena, she seems to have semi-transparant pvc in her head, which I actually think makes her just that bit cooler than our other resident ghost. And then we have Neightan. I'm not sold on his outfit (although the idea behind it is fab, go you Garrett!), however I freaking LOVE the detailing in his face mold, not to mention his sweet expression, and he is a boy after all. So yes, I need all four of these. New Scaremester 2 Eventhough I'm not sure whether or not I actually want any of them bar one, I really like the new looks for this set of characters: Gigi is wonderfully colourful, and the turquoise lips, though a pretty bold choice, really makes everything about her pop. She's like a firework in Genie form ^__^ Twyla is lovely in her purple and green colour scheme, but what's really caught my attention are her adorable shoes, mj-slingbacks, that suit her personality perfectly as well as being completely adorable. Catty appeals to me much because of her beautiful pitchblack skin paired with her signature bright pink pallette. Her outfit is a nice and laid back leggings and tee combination, something I like seeing the ghouls in, so all in all me likey. As for Billy, I only have one thing to say: Come to me, baby! Ghoul Sports While I am intrigued that Clawdeen's softball get-up seems to have the ultimate finishing touch of a gum-bubble that somehow attaches to her lips, I'm not much for sports, and am going to give the whole line a miss. Ghouls Alive Robecca Probably the only Ghouls Alive doll I've been interested in. I will admit that the FCA movie had alot to do with it, but to be fair, I did like her even before viewing the film. I do love Beccs after all <3 Casta Fierce I will reserve my judgement untill I know more about her, but she really doesn't appeal to me visually. Creepateria Cute, so cute, buuut... I won't be getting any of them. Draculocker Now this is something I have waited for; a room/closet carrying case. Hells yeah! The Draculaura, extra dress and shoes, and the acessories are really cute, but it's the locker that's a must have for me. Student Council 5-pack As previously stated, 5-packs make me looney. But I have to get my paws on Golda. Iris and Manny Predicted to be this years SDCC exclusive, and if it is, I will weep. Because Manny to me belongs in the main group, and I need my bullying Minotaur! Ghoul Talk 2-pack C'est tres jolie, but not for me. Coffin Bean 2 While Twyla does nothing for me, I find Robeccas outfit very interesting, and Venus is definately lookin' hot in her llittle number, so she at least is a definite maybe. I <3 Accessories Skelita is very pretty, but a pass for me. Operetta however is a must! So gorgeous and totally perfect. Sweet Screams 2 Neither Ghoulia nor Abbey caught my interest. The pictures that recently showed up weren't all that clear, so they might be better looking than I currently think. I <3 Fashion Wydowna Oh my ghoul, I wanted her before her additional outfits were shown, but now I want her even more. The outfits are gorgeous <3 And that's pretty much it for now I think.
