Ahoy-hoy!

Aaah, man that was exhausting!

I gave up on LJ a while back, and have since been manually transferring the backlog of my beloved blog over here. Still not completely done, some design elements need tweaking, but yeah. Happy first post on the new platform to me!

Now, let's see what I've been up to lately...

Well, I've gotten back into sewing recently, and it's going far better than it ever has before.

I've also gotten into customizing! Or rather, I've dipped my toes in the shallow end XD

So far, I've done a partial repaint on a SHG doll, and a full face-up on an old MH CAM I hadlying around - it turned out better than I'd hoped!

So now I'm going to try my hand at re-hairing.

This terrifies me, but there's a good reason for me taking the sudden plunge: I recently scored a Venus Pullip for cheap, and while I've always loved her face, her hair - yeah, not so much. At first I was thinking I'd just buy a wig, but then I remembered - she's one of the rooted type 2's! And while buying a new scalp for her would have been the easy option, I just sorta went 'ah, feckit, now I can get her hair just the way I want'. And here we are. So, since I decided to root Venus, I figured I may as well reroot the CAM wig cap and have a full custom made out of it.

Still terrified, but also very excited.

Oh, and apart from V, who I've re-named Danni, I also have a new Dal incoming! A Puki, who will remain stock, because she's just too dang adorable the way she is. Bunny <3<3<3

In the same package, we're also expecting two new figures; another Rias Gremory and a Maou from Maou to Yuusha.

And although it's three months or so belated, my b-day pressie will arrive shortly, consisting of Body-kun and Body-chan! No more rooting through google for poses, yussss!

Lastly, I've got a couple of tv-series on the way, something I'm thrilled about, because I love having something familiar on in the background while I work ^_^ Now I just have to decide if I want to plow through Dark Angel first, or run through the first seasons of Merlin and Veronica Mars before that XD
