Non dolly post

I am officially done with x-mas shopping as of five minutes ago, and it's not even December yet! HAHAHAHA! Now I don't have to worry about anything but painting for the the next couple of weeks, while people around me just now are beginning to realise with a creeping sense of dread that it's almost "that time of year". Poor dears >.o Oh, and on a related note, I had my very first art show opening yesterday. It was... interesting. Personally, I spent most of the time hiding behind the freezer in the pantry, but everyone else seemed to like it just fine. I really don't know what to do with compliments though, hence the hiding-behind-random-appliances. But yeah. Tiny private events are about as much as I can take. If it'd been any bigger, I'd have run for it instead of hiding. Oh, and apparantly 2 of my watercolours have been reserved. Happiness.
