Daylight savings gets me every time.

Doesn't matter whether it's coming or going, I have the worst time adjusting to it. So I figured, while I sit here at 1 in the afternoon trying to wake up by chugging absurd amounts of coffee, I might as well make an update.

So, day after my River and Midge arrived, my long awaited package from the US showed up! It contained the two Target exclusive Gloom and Bloom ghouls, as well as Kiyomi from Haunted. Kiyomi is gorgeous. I love all the little face details on her accessories, especially on her shoes. Something else I hadn't noticed in promo pics were the little cherryblossom details on her chains, which are a great touch, as well as how lovely her hair style is; simple, yet adorable. Gloom and Bloom Cleo was the one I was the most excited for, and she truly did not disappoint. She is whithout a doubt the only Cleo that I have instantly adored from head to toe. The colours, prints and style of her outfit are amazing, her hairstyle is wonderful, and her acessories, from the plant to her little trowel, are perfect. I could kiss whoever was in charge of her design. And then there's Jinafire, who also blew me away with her pure awesome.I was expecting to like her, but not this much. She's currently competing with Cleo for my favourite MH doll of all time. I think what I love most about her, apart from what I also like in Cleo i.e hair, dress etc, are all the little dragons that can be found in her acessories. So pretty <3 All in all, last week was a pretty good week for my dolly-obsession. I'm still working on the grand re-organizing, but have come to realise most of it will have to wait until Sweetie and I get around to buying the new cabinets we've been discussing. As it is, our anime figures are encroaching on my dolly space, along with some of his Transormers that should supposedly go in the robot cabinets, except those, too, have ended up hosting figures. I swear on my life, we are not hoarders, but it's typing out sentences like the one above that definately make it sound like we are ^__^;; But I guess that's what you get when you cram together a workshop, art studio and toyroom into a single room. Speking of art, I'm currently in the midst of updating my OC's, which I have to admit is a lot of fun, and very relaxing. If nothing else, it shows how far I've come these last few years in improving my art style. Thinking of opening up for commission work, actually. Needs a bit more thinking about though... And now I'm off to try and find a drawing I did a while back that has gone missing. It's a pretty cute re-design of my phoenix character, so I really hope I can find it.
