Fashion Dolls of Asia: Magical Fairy Balala!

I LOVE snooping around online asian markets to look for cute dolls! Mostly, I've hung out on taobao checking out cute fakies or western prototypes, but the other day I stumbled on some utterly adorable dolls that I had never seen before, and of course, being me, I had to find out more about them! Magical Fairy Balala is a chinese live action and anime franchise, centering around three characters (at first); Maggie, Michelle and Sally. You can read more about them here! I'm completely taken with these! While everything about them practically screams knock-off quality, I can't help but adore the face molds for the three taller girls! It's so rare for magical girl dolls to have realistic faces, after all.

For the next series of dolls, the face molds changed rather drastically to a much cartoonier version. Still cute though!
