So, just a little more than 24 hours until x-mas eve (which is when most of us northerners celebrate), and I'm just whiling away my time by playing WOW, watching Beelzebub or contemplating the upcoming releases from various doll lines. Good times, good times. So, anyway, there's been a lot of leaks lately concerning MH and EAH, and I thought I'd give my two cents as I usually do.

Let's begin with the MH lines shall we? Welcome To Monster High; boring. So boring! The new face screenings (and rounder facemolds?)really only suit Draculaura, the others just don't look like themselves anymore, which is disappointing. The outfits feel like they lack creativity, somehow. And the new character, Moanica (Yelps?), feels pale both coulour and design-wise. Big nope for me all around, sadly. Shriek Wrecked; I don't fully understand this line. The designs, I mean. Clawdeen is the only one of the lot who feels even remotely ship-wrecked-on-a-desert-island or whatever. The others look like they dressed for a themed party in the dark. As for Dana Treasura Jones, she's even weaker in appeal than Moanica. I get the urge to add gimmicks to a line, but the turnover dress feature feels overdone. So yeah, another complete miss for me. Ever After High New Characters Meeshell Mermaid; Her dress annoys me a fair bit, the skirt feels... wrong. But I do genuinely love her eyebrows, they make for a very uniqie face, and overall I like her. Don't think I'll be wanting her, but she's nice. New Characters Nina Thumbell; Apart from the fact that she reminds me way too much of Heartstruck Cupid, she's adorable. I'm a sucker for dark skin/light hair characters. A definite maybe. New Characters Jillian Beanstalk; I seem to belong to a minority in my opinion, but I think she's easily the best of the three. Her outfit might not be awesome, but her face sure is, she's gorgeous! I really really hope she's on the taller body. She's also a definite maybe for me. Epic Winter; They're pretty much all completely adorable, with Maddie and her new smiling facemold and the ever lovely Briar coming out on top, and Blondie coming in close second because of her usual lolita-esque appearance. I am however seriously disappointed in Daring; like everyone else is asking, where's his blinding smile? Big letdown. As for the new character, Crystal Winter, my initial reaction to her was echoed by someone on tumblr saying she looked like Abbey and Twylas' lovechild XD But now I've had some time to think her over, I kind of like her. Not enough to get her, but yeah. Why? Because they couldn't go the Elsa route, so the did the best they could, and I'm impressed with the result. Birthday Ball; At first I was seriously unimpressed by both the concept and line-up. Sure, pastel hair is super cute, and coordinating their outfits to make a monochrome impression is kind of fun, but when it was just slimbox Cupid, Blondie and Duchess, nah. Then today someone found deluxe BB dolls in the form of Cedar and Rosabella, and I was sold. A series of dolls to display as a rainbow? Yes please! Plus they're apparantly SCENTED! I'm really hoping they add even more characters to the line now for even more pastellicious, sweet smelling fun! (Like a apple red haired Applethat smells like apples? Or maybe a grape scented grape purple Raven? Colourssss! Scentssss!) There's also been a couple of semi-official reveals for the Disney Descendants line, and I just love Freddie. If I do start collecting DD, I must have her, she's just too gorgeous not to own <3

And that's the end of my dolly ramblings for this time.
