Things to look forward to

Toyfair '16! It's just around the corner, and I have if not high, then at least some hope for Hasbros' various Disney lines, Descendants included. As for Mattel, the ground breaking news and promo images of their new Barbie Fashionistas that hit the web yesterday has given me high hopes; can't wait to see pics of the actual dolls! The curvy and tall girls have me floored!! I'm also really excited to see if the EAH team have something new to bring to the table; I know there were a few leaks around new years, but hey, maybe that wasn't everything. And anyway, after watching Dragon Games today, I have good feelings for the future of this line. If the entertainment side of the franchise keeps bringing the awesome, even if it is a small brand compared to alot of Mattels other properties, I have a feeling it's popularity can only go up from here. (Especially now that they can focus solely on their own princesses and their adventures, as opposed to the company fighting itself by promoting Disney as well. So woohoo!) Also looking forward to our first vacation abroad in years; We're going to Tokyo in May, and I'm chuffed! We've been wanting to go for so long, and now we finally are. Hopefully, being able to go through the second hand goods stores in Akiba/Nakano/Ikebukuro will help us cross some grails off of our lists (Princess Serenity Pullip, I'm looking at you!) Of course I'll be trying my best to control myself, but I have a sinking feeling that I'll be bringing home a veritable butt-load of Sailor Moon stuff, since a lot of new merch is bound to happen thanks to the continuation of SMCrystal in April. That and whatever cool Beauty and the Beast stuff I can find at the JP Disney Store. And for once I find myself looking forward to my birthday. Not for any specific reason, apart from the planned cheesecake, just generally happy that it's coming up.
