Whee! Deadpool Day!

Going to see it tonight ^__^ It premiered here yesterday, but since Bae was tired from work, we decided to see it today. Also, Toy Fair has begun, something I'm really excited for. Loving practically everything new we've seen so far of the Descendants line, even Ally who I thought would be as dull as the other Auradon girls. Still not happy about the new MH. I'm going to give the new animation a shot, but I won't be getting any of the dolls. They've just completely lost their appeal to me. But I'll save the rest of my TF bletherings until we have more info and piccies. Oh, and thanks to my burfday, I have an update on the collection front! Just placed an order for Thronecoming Apple and Raven, Signature Dexter, and Dragon Games Darling, Holly and Raven! With my b-day cash and a coupon code I had, I wound up paying like 40$ of my own money for all of them including shipping, all in all not a bad deal. So very excited for them to get here, especially the Dragon Games ladies <3 Speaking of my birthday, I also got two presents from Bae and the folks, though they haven't arrived yet: Jem and the Holograms comic paperback volume 1 and Sailor Moon manga box set vol 1! So happy I'm practically vibrating haha Aaand I'm just beginning to plan my second trip abroad this year; Taking mum with me to Rome for a couple of days at the end of summer! I'm giving her a trip for her 60th, because it's the least I could do for her. Initially we were going to go to Paris, but we changed our minds due to all the... hub-ub going on. So I suggested Rome as an alternative, and her eyes actually lit up! I don't think I've ever seen her that excited <3 Apparantly she really wants to see the all the typical attractions, because she's read so much about them, and I can't say I blame her. I'm really looking forward to touristy stuff like the Colloseum myself heh. Of course I'll be doing a bit of toy scouting while I'm there, Italy does have a lot of really cool stuff after all, hopefully I'll find something worthy of bringing with me home. Now I just have to find a really comfy hotel with a lift and minimal walking-distance to the bigger sights (mum has a pretty bad case of arthritis), and we're all set for a awesome mother-daughter trip. Oh right, and I've also decided to save up for my first really expensive purchase in a long time; Big Chief 1/6 Doctor Who action figures of the 11th Doctor and Clara Oswald. They're like 170£ each. We'll see how that goes, heh.
