General updates

Been a while. Haven't had that many new aquisitions lately, nor any real news to report. Mostly we've been prepping for our trip next month, like making sure we have what we need both wardrobe- and travel neccessities-wise. A few smaller purchases have happened though; I managed to score my four top wanted Disney Princess Little Kingdom figures - Aurora, Belle, Ana and Elsa - at just above american retail, so yay. The bae also encouraged me to get the Rainbow Dash Equestria Girls mini when we found her while grocery shopping; she really is super cute, and making me want Twily and Pinkie as well, but I think I'll hold off on them for a while. And today I stumbled on a 3 for 2 sale on Pop! figures, so I picked up Flash, Bats and Robin. I probably shouldn't have, but I've been on a major DC kick lately... After having finally gotten around to watching Young Justice, I decided to try reading a few issues from the late 90's, and I'm now kind of hooked. I used to read X-men and Spidey from time to time, but they never really caught my interest. Not to say I don't still like Marvel, but DC's characters and stories had me hook, line and sinker from the get go. Soo, now I'm complete and utter Bat-trash, and I'm head over heals in love with several Speedsters, but mainly Impulse, who is so far my absolute favourite of the young'uns. Adding to the list of things I'm complete trash for, I've become totally obsessed with Legends of Tomorrow, and Captain Canary, the ship that's captained by it's own actors. Caity and Wentworth are adorable, and thankfully the writers have picked up on the awesome chemistry they have going. I honestly don't care if it stays platonic or turns romantic, just as long as these two get to interact. Hell, someone ought to make a pitch for a spin-off comic for these two lol Anyway, off to edit the Tokyo shopping list (much thanks to Kotobukia, the awesome bastards).
