Bork.

This week has so far been pretty awesome: Our Artfx+ figures arrived in the post, and my word, they are awesome. Ridiculously stoked to have a tiny Dami to coo at (since I'm one of those weirdos who thinks he's just the most precious little shit in the omniverse. My problematic fave smol bean. Bless his emotionally unstable little socks). And my new markers ought to be here tomorrow, which means I can finish colouring my current batch of OC portraits. Also, with a little bit of luck, we will soon be adopting a new fur-baby! A beautiful snow-white baby boy who will, with any luck, grow into something of a monster. Yarp, we're finally going Coon. Very exciting! I've also realised that I may have a small obsession with Batgirls (yes, plural). While Stephanie Brown will forever be my favourite, Babs has managed to worm her way into my heart. And of course, since I collect stuff, I had a peek at what's out there merch-wise. To my horror and disgust, there has only ever been one figure made of Steph. One. 1. Singular in the most singular form. And of course she's disgustingly expensive. So, I guess I've found myself a Holy Grail. Dammit. I'm seriously hoping Kotobukiya get their butts in gear and decide to extend the already extended Artfx+ Batfamily to include Steph (as Spoiler I s'pose, since it's N52), Cass (as...well, as Orphan I guess), and maybe even Harper. The line definately needs more female characters. As for Babs, thankfully, there's a veritable buttload of stuff to moon over. Well, compared to Steph at least. I definately want Funkos' Rock Candy Batgirl, it's just too cute! Koto's Bishoujo BG is pretty dang hot as well. But my biggest want right now would have to be the Batgirl of Burnside action figure slated for November. It is gorgeous and totally awesome. But should I pre-order? Gah. We don't have anything ordered for November, but then again, it is the month before x-mas... Speaking of pre-orders, we've got Hana no Yousei-san on for August (our first 18+ figure, for shame), Variable Action Heroes Boa Hancock for September, and finally Nendoroid Ainz Ooal Gown for December. We WOULD have had the Albedo Nendo for January with pre-order bonus parts, but GSC Shop wouldn't accept my card for whatever reason (no, not overdrawn, I'm VERY careful with money. Most likely some sort of glitch). Oh, and apart from the above mentioned Batgirl, I'm debating whether I should pre-order both Sailor Moon Figuarts Zero Chouette figures while I still can. If we make enough to cover one of them next fleamarket, I think I might. Yup. Oh, and we've already ordered Mr McSillypants' b-day gift (that's sort of a gift for both of us). When I found it at half off on Amiami I couldn't help myself >.< Play Arts Kai Variant Steampunk Batman. Mr Silly is delighted. I'm pretty forking stoked too. We're lost cases, aren't we? Oh well.
